Who is Eazy2Cook.com!

Hi and welcome to Eazy2Cook. The site where you can find and share recipes, tips, advice and really anything that relates to cooking for your family. My name is Yvonne Dzierbicki and I am a mother of 3. A seventeen, fourteen and eleven year old.

I love food. I love cooking it and serving it up to my husband and kids and receiving great compliments  when they love what I had prepared. However, this is not always the case and through my years of experience, as a wife and mother I have had lots of  successes and lots of failures.

I love collecting recipes. I am always buying new cookbooks and ripping pages out of old magazines. Over the years, I have tried and tested and usually changed recipes that I liked to my own taste and skill.

For six years  I owned and operated my own small Cafe business. Until December 2008, when I decided to sell. Most of the food on the menu was prepared and cooked by me. It had to be quick and easy to prepare as well as taste good and look appealing enough for people to want to buy it. As it was a small, family operated business I thought it would only be fitting if I cooked food that was influenced by home cooking. And that’s where a lot of my recipes were tested. Basically the food I cooked for my family at home, I would usually cook at the cafe,  it worked very well.

When I first sold the business, I enjoyed all the free time and no stress, at the start anyway. However, after sharing my food ideas with a much bigger audience then just my family, for such a long time, I missed the satisfaction of cooking for a bigger crowd. Then, I discovered the fantastic world of blogging and decided to share my experiences with the rest of the world.

I come from an Eastern European background and a lot of my cooking evolves around recipes from Poland and Russia however, I live in Australia, the multicultural country. I therefore enjoy cooking and again improvising along the way, food from many countries. As this blog grows, I hope to post recipes that you might have heard and cooked yourself before, but these will have my personal twist added to them.

I hope that you will enjoy reading my recipes and ideas. Please feel free to comment and make suggestions.

Look forward to sharing many wonderful stories with you all!

Happy Blogging

Yvonne
